Worst...Ending...EVER!!!

Greetings,

There is about a half-hour left in April 2008, and I have to say I can't wait for it to be over. Since my last post, the following has occurred:

I turned 30.

I was told that my appeal to overrule the corporate rule that prohibited me from being awarded a full-time, permanent position at the bank was denied.

The next day, I was escorted out of the bank by security - without an explanation.

Due to the lack of explanation, I became paranoid to the point of asking my friend, a law enforcement officer, to run a background check on me to make sure that there is not some felon out there with my name who is affecting my ability to get a job. (FYI, my record is still clean as a whistle).

I spent Thursday night and all of Friday with a monster case of the flu.

I spent all day Sunday caring for my wife, who caught my monster case of the flu.

I contacted several other lawyers, and the ACLU, none of whom want to touch my case with a ten foot pole.

On the bright side, I did register for the math class I need to complete in order to be eligible for the electrician apprenticeship, and I did get another temp job, working for the state, that will last me for another month.

I feel so beaten down.

I am trying very hard to stay positive, but it's getting tougher and tougher. I feel like there is just no real justice in the universe. As much as I hate to admit it, I do feel victimized, and it seems like there is nobody out there who is willing to help me fight back.

I am just worn out, and it seems like right now I am working harder and harder for less and less reward. I don't feel like I can muster any positive energy to throw out there, so maybe I can borrow some. If you happen to have an excess of positivity, please send some out there with my name on it - prayers, well-wishes, etc. -I'll take whatever I can get.

Thanks for reading,

I am the Reverend Humpy and I have approved this message.

Hey Brandon...

You've always got my prayers and good vibes flowing your way. I'll tell Dan to send more out as will I. Keep your chin up, things will get better, I promise...

Wow. Sorry to hear about the bad run of luck. I am sending all the positive vibes I can your way.

Let me know if you need anything.

Peace, bro.

Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, (this is my message to you-ou-ou:)

Singin: dont worry bout a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin: dont worry (dont worry) bout a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right!
