Saying Something When I Have Nothing To Say...

This post is really just a note to say "Don't worry, I'm not abandoning my blog." It's been a little over a month since I've posted anything, and the only reason for that is just that I really don't have anything to say right now. I went to San Diego about a week ago, and that was amazing. I was going to write a blog about how much I liked San Diego and how lame it was coming back to Spokane, but once I got into it, I found it really hard to be so negative. Spokane has some real problems (most notably the large percentage of the population who are still convinced that it is a backwoods, conservative town - and act accordingly), but I think that there are far too many people pointing those things out. My spin on it, therefore, will not be published.

There have also been a lot of things happening on the political front, but one other thing that my San Diego trip taught me was this: When you go for a week without even thinking about politics, you tend to be a lot more relaxed, and when you go back to thinking about politics, you just get all fired up and stressed out... or at least that's the case with me. So I am trying to just chill on the political front for a little while and see if the debate progresses without my help.

In other news, I am writing this post while sitting in the library at Eastern Washington University. Today is the first day of school. I am taking three classes this quarter: Chemistry 151, Indian Studies 101, and Math 105 (Pre-Calculus). In between my Chemistry and Indian Studies classes, I have a two hour break, so I will likely do some blogging during that time.

Anyway, don't fret. I'm still here and I'm fairly certain that within a reasonable amount of time I'll be all full of piss and vinegar about some idiotic topic, and when that time comes, you'll be able to read all about it.
